ANNUAL LEBANON CARRIAGE PARADE & CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL

While the The Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the Annual Lebanon Carriage Parade & Christmas Festival on Saturday, December 3, local churches are finalizing their community service events for the evening.

Lebanon Presbyterian Church will once again be hosting a Outdoor Living Nativity on this evening, plus additional Saturdays throughout December. Members of the church represent characters from the Biblical manger scene, as a special way of remembering the One who is at the center of this special season.

Cookies and hot chocolate will also be served inside the church as well a puppet show, "The Greatest Gift", that runs every fifteen minutes from 6-8:30 p.m. upstairs in the puppet theatre.

New Freedom Church will also be welcoming visitors in from the cold by offering hot soup, hot chocolate and other treats in their cafeteria.

The Christmas Festival runs from 10am-8pm and Horse-Drawn Carriage Parades are at 1pm and candlelit parade at 7pm.

Christmas in Warren County returns to Lebanon Presbyterian Church! Groups participating include: the St. Francis Children's Choir, King Mills High School Sax Quartet, North Cincinnati Youth Orchestra as well as Lebanon Presbyterian Church's Handbell Choir.

Sunday, December 4-12 l Lebanon Presbyterian Church

Bring an unwrapped toy to the church office (upstairs) to be given to a needy child. No toy guns or weapon-type toys please! Toys will be collected and given to eligible families in the Lebanon School District. These families will come to select toys for their children, infant to age 14. Try to keep gifts of equal value - $15 each. Children's coloring and reading books along with hats and mittens will also be given. Monetary donations accepted and used to purchase toys.

Gru counters his fall by speeding up his plan to shrink and steal the moon, enlisting the help of his army of minions and the elderly Dr. Nefario, but a lack of funding and the difficulties involved in stealing the needed shrink-ray gun threaten to derail everything. Adopting three young orphan girls is an unlikely, but seemingly effective means to further Gru's evil mission, but Gru quickly discovers that caring for three young girls is more work, and distraction, than he could ever have anticipated. What unfolds is an unexpected shift in attitude that will forever change the lives of Gru, Vector, and all three young girls.
